Along with Mrs. Parisi the Economy Elementary Physical Education Teacher and Bradley Cavanagh the Youth Market Director for the American Heart Association are the following students from Economy Elementary School who collected $100 or more for the American Heart Association, when they participated in the Jump Rope for Heart /Hoops for Heart Fund Raiser in their gym class.  We are proud to announce that we raised $ 4,773.00 for the American Heart Association. In doing so, we also received $200.00 in much needed physical education equipment.

This is the 30th year of the Beaver County Summer Academy!

 

The Beaver County Summer Academy program is for all students in Beaver County currently enrolled in grades K-8 and will be offered during the weeks of June 18-22 and June 25-29 at Dutch Ridge Elementary School in the Beaver Area School District.

 

If you are looking to provide an opportunity for your child(ren) to experience new adventures, expand horizons, arouse curiosity, find self, share ideas and products, stimulate creativity and imagination, laugh and have fun, then Summer Academy is the place for you this summer!

The 2018 Golden Apple Gala was held at The Prevention Network on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
This event, the only of its kind in Southwestern Pennsylvania, honors those educators, nominated by their school administrator, who go above and beyond to ensure the success of students.
This annual event draws nearly 150 individuals from across our region to honor those who have been recognized for 2018. The Golden Apple Gala recognizes all individuals who are nominated at this event.
 
Congratulations to Ms. Bennis, who won the Golden Apple Award for Elementary School Teachers!
