AAHS students participated in a Reality Fair on Thursday, Oct. 3. The fair was sponsored by the Ambridge Area Federal Credit Union (AAFCU). During the fair, students had the opportunity to select careers, receive a prepared profile of earings and visit a number of booths focused on budgeting for transportation, insurance, food cost, housing, entertainment, clothing, saving, Internet and TV and a part-time supplement. Students also had the chance to spin the reality wheel to impose life conditions that may arise to see how it would affect their overall budgets. The experience closed with students being afforded the opportunity to meet with a financial planner to access how they might make positive changes and adjustments.
