In honor of Black History Month, Highland’s 4th grade students learned about ten African American men and women who made a significant impact on American history. The students worked together to research these men and women. They put together a presentation to educate the community on those who are often left out of history books. Each group selected an actor or actress to portray the individual the group researched. They included fascinating facts about each person and displayed those facts on a carefully planned poster board. We are so incredibly proud of our students and the phenomenal job they did on their research and presentations to the community! Great job 4th grade!
