The Pennsylvania Land Surveyors’ Foundation, Inc. is offering academic scholarships to students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in land surveying. We hope that several of your students will be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity to help fund their education. The application period runs from March 1 to April 30, 2024.
The Foundation, an affiliate of Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors, was established in 1990 to create awareness of the opportunities available in the land surveying profession, provide financial assistance to individuals pursuing an education in land surveying, make grants and contributions to educational institutions to enhance their curriculum related to land surveying, and provide financial assistance for research in land surveying. Each year, the Foundation presents approximately $15,000 in scholarships to individual land surveying students who are outstanding scholars, students, and citizens. The recent scholarships were presented at our annual conference to eleven deserving students. Many of their families were able to attend and share in the celebration.
