Prom Promise Event

Good morning!

The prom countdown has begun and with the big event approaching, The Prevention Network would like to invite all Beaver County high schools to our Prom Promise event on April 25^th. This event will feature a very impactful speaker, Nathan Harmon, who will address the importance of positive-decision making and the risks associated with underage drinking. Our hope is to have students from every district in attendance as schools can play a pivotal role in keeping prom celebrations safe and memorable.

A Survey by AAA found that 41% of teens age 16 to 19 said they’d most likely drink or use drugs on prom nights. Of teens who do drink at prom, more than half (54%) have four or more alcoholic beverages.

We want students in Beaver County to have nothing but happy memories of important high school milestones for years to come. Please help us fill our gymnasium for this event and keep our students safe!
