It is time for students to register for The Prevention Network’s annual Mr. Beaver County scholarship competition, which offers a cash prize of $1,000 for the first-place winner, a 2nd place prize of $500 and a 3rd place prize of $250.
The Mr. Beaver County 2024 scholarship contest – which is co-sponsored by Beaver County Behavioral Health – is open to all male students who are Seniors or Juniors at Beaver County high schools. Contestants must be drug-free and must be in good academic standing!
Like last year, our competition will be judged in a hybrid format. Please see the registration form (linked below) for details, but each full Mr. Beaver County entry will include:
- Talent entry – submitted online in video format (by April 25)
- Anti-drug message poster – Submitted online in .jpg format (by April 25)
- Contestant self-introduction (judged LIVE on May 15 at our Mr. Beaver County 2025 ceremony)
- Fish Bowl Questions segment (judged LIVE May 15 at our Mr. Beaver County 2025 ceremony)
Our Mr. Beaver County 2025 competition promises to be a fun event, with a chance to spotlight your Seniors and Juniors as we introduce contestants on our social media. We hope you will encourage your students to participate… We would love to have EVERY high school in Beaver County represented!
The deadline to register for Mr. Beaver County is April 4, and the online portions of entry submissions will be due by April 25. We plan to complete live judging and announce our winner on May 15, 2025.
