This is a message from the Health Services Department of the Ambridge Area School District to inform you that we have placed various informational links on the district website related to the COVID pandemic. Over the summer, we worked to create a plan to promote a safe and healthy school environment for students and staff. Please take a moment to read over the COVID Health Protocols as well as the Parent Screening Tool for COVID. We hope that these forms answer your questions regarding when it is not safe to send your child to school if they are not feeling well, as well as the protocols that we will follow if students become ill at school.
You will also find a copy of the health office discharge information that will be given to your child in the event that they are sent home from school due to illness with COVID related symptoms, as well as a return to school excuse form. In addition, we have included many links to the CDC files for COVID symptoms, proper hand washing techniques, face coverings, and preventing the spread of COVID. We encourage you to review this material with your child so that they are better prepared for the start of this unusual school year.
You may reference these links by going to the district website and clicking on Services then the Health Services tab.
We hope you enjoy your last weekend before school is in session. We look forward to seeing everyone next week.
