Dear Parents and Guardians:
At the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year, the Technology Department collected all of the student issued devices. Before the student devices will be distributed, parents and guardians must return a series of signed documents. Documents will be available online to view and print before school starts on August 18, 2021. In addition, students will be given a paper copy to bring home on the first day of school. Once all of the signed documents have been returned to the homeroom teacher, the student will be issued their device. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please contact your child’s school administration office.
Device Protection Plan
Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, the Ambridge Area School District will offer a Device Protection Plan (DPP) that may be purchased for student issued devices. Students may participate in the optional Device Protection Plan for $30.00, per device per year, starting in August of 2021. During the 2020-2021 school year, the Ambridge Area School District did NOT collect any fees for equipment; including fees for damage and replacement. Moving forward, bills will be issued for all damage. Please refer to the Incident Assessment Chart to see the details of the DPP, fees, and incident reporting.
