Want to get psyched for the big Homecoming game against the Blackhawk on Friday, Sept. 24? Join us for the Bridgers Homecoming Community Pep Rally on Thursday, Sept. 23 to help kick off Homecoming weekend. Festivities will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moe Rubenstein Stadium.
The Homecoming Rally will feature a number of fun-filled events, including food trucks, baked goods, raffles, face painting and games for the whole family. The Homecoming Court, High School Band and Cheerleaders and Varsity Football players will be featured during the pep rally. All younger athletes are encouraged to wear their Bridger gear and stay for the event. If your sports program and/or club would like to have a table at the event, please complete the form here. Homecoming t-shirts can be bought during lunch periods at the high school or at football games and homecoming events (S-XL $10 & XXL-XXXL $12).
The pep rally will be followed by the big Homecoming game, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24. Immediately preceding the game will be a Homecoming Parade and Celebration, starting at 4:30 p.m. The parade route begins at the Ambridge 911 Center and ends at the stadium. The parade will feature high school, middle school and elementary school students and school organizations, who will join the Homecoming Court as it makes its way through town to the stadium. Clubs and athletic programs that would like to register to participate in the parade may do so here. The deadline to register is Tuesday, Sept. 21. All parade participants are required to be at the 911 Center no later than 4:00 PM.
Band and cheer alumni are invited to take part in the homecoming game and parade festivities. We are offering 2 free tickets to any band or cheer alumni that would like to participate. Alumni will also be given the option to cheer with the cheerleaders or play alongside the band and participate in the homecoming parade. There will be a spot in the stands designated for cheer and band alumni who choose not to participate and would prefer to sit in the stands. If you are interested, please contact Meg Rabold at mrabold@ambridge.k12.pa.us.
The safety and security of our students is a top priority at these events. As such, it is mandatory for students under the age of 12 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian, or other responsible adult. Students that are 12 or under and not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the gate. All students are required to sit in the student section or with parents for the entire football game. Concession stands will be open during the game, featuring a variety of food options.
Homecoming weekend will conclude with the Homecoming Dance, from 6:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, Sept. 25. Tickets will be sold from Sept. 21-24 during lunches. Cost is $10 and can also be purchased at the door. Students from another school are NOT permitted to attend. All students attending the event must be in good academic and behavioral standing.
