David Niklewicz
1969 graduate
Received an Oscar plaque in 2003 from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Scientific and Technical Advancement for his part in the design and development of Kodak Vision Premier Color Print film-2392, used for many films including Gladiator, Erin Brockovich, Cars, Monster, Inc, Tangled, and Brave. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester (MS Chemical Engineering). He spent 39 years at the Eastman Kodak Company and currently is Kodak’s Product Manager for distribution films used in the motion picture industry.
